Kyra has both Japanese and Filipino roots and speaks three languages: Japanese, English, and Filipino.
She supports international patients with reception, appointment scheduling, chairside assistance, listening to symptoms and concerns, and explaining treatment procedures and fees.
Our dentist can also communicate in basic English. When more detailed communication is needed, Kyra provides support in English so that you can discuss your concerns without worrying about language barriers.
All diagnoses, treatment planning, and dental procedures are performed or determined by the dentist.

Dental treatment can feel even more stressful when you are in an environment where you cannot fully understand the language.

I will listen carefully to your symptoms and preferences and help explain the treatment process and fees as clearly as possible.

Kyra generally works on all clinic days except Fridays. As English-language support may not be available depending on staffing, please make an appointment in advance.

Many international patients visit our clinic after experiencing sudden tooth pain, swollen gums, or a chipped or broken tooth during their trip.

We ask about your symptoms, the length of your stay, and your upcoming schedule. After carrying out the necessary examinations, we recommend treatment that suits your individual circumstances.

Depending on the condition of the tooth, direct bonding using tooth-colored dental resin may allow us to restore the shape of the tooth in a single visit.

However, depending on the size of the cavity, the condition of your bite, and the extent of the fracture, multiple appointments or a different type of treatment may be necessary.

When tooth decay has progressed to the dental pulp, root canal treatment may be necessary.

Taking your symptoms and length of stay into consideration, we will explain the available options, including emergency treatment to relieve pain, starting root canal treatment, and any further treatment that may be required.

Swelling, bleeding, pain, and bad breath may be caused by periodontal disease.

Depending on your examination results and the length of your stay, we may recommend short-term intensive periodontal treatment.

Our goal is not only to temporarily relieve symptoms but also to improve your oral health by removing the plaque, calculus, and bacteria contributing to the problem.

For patients who are traveling, the first appointment primarily focuses on examinations and emergency care to relieve pain, swelling, and other symptoms.

For patients who live in Japan or plan to stay for an extended period, we examine not only the area causing pain but also the overall condition of the mouth.

At the first appointment, we generally carry out dental X-rays, intraoral photographs, and a periodontal examination.

At a subsequent appointment, we explain the overall condition of your mouth and discuss a comprehensive treatment plan.

Our goal is not simply to provide temporary treatment. We want to help you protect your natural teeth, maintain good oral health, and continue enjoying meals comfortably for many years.

The final cost may vary depending on the examinations required, the condition of your teeth, and the extent of treatment.

・Initial appointment using valid Japanese health insurance: approximately ¥4,000–¥5,000
・Initial appointment without Japanese health insurance: ¥22,000, including tax
・Professional cleaning: from ¥16,500, including tax
・Short-term intensive periodontal treatment: ¥55,000–¥165,000, including tax
・CT scan: ¥11,000, including tax
・Private follow-up appointment fee: ¥1,000, including tax

The initial appointment fee for patients without Japanese health insurance includes a basic dental examination, dental X-rays, and a periodontal examination.

Additional examinations, procedures, and treatments will be charged separately.

We will explain the proposed treatment and fees before beginning treatment. A written estimate can also be provided for private treatment when necessary.

Patients enrolled in valid Japanese public health insurance may use their insurance for eligible treatments.

We also accept the My Number health insurance card.
Treatments and materials that are not covered by Japanese health insurance will be provided as private treatment.

We can issue receipts and treatment-related documents within the scope available at our clinic.

As insurance coverage and required documents vary between insurance providers, please contact your insurance company before your appointment to confirm what documentation is needed.

When direct billing to an overseas insurance provider is not available, you will be required to pay the treatment fees at the clinic and submit the insurance claim yourself.

Same-day appointments may be available when there is an opening in our schedule.
Patients who arrive without an appointment may not always be accepted.

We provide emergency care for symptoms such as:

・Swelling of the gums or face
・A chipped or broken tooth
・A lost filling or crown
・Pain when biting
・Wisdom tooth pain
・Pain or swelling around a dental implant

Short-term intensive treatment may be available after discussing the treatment required, the length of your stay, and our appointment availability.

Please contact us at least three days before your appointment if you need to change or cancel it.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to change or shorten the planned treatment or reschedule your appointment.

Patients who repeatedly cancel on the same day or fail to attend without notice may no longer be able to make appointments in advance.

In such cases, treatment may only be available when there is an opening on the same day.

We reserve dedicated treatment time for each patient and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
